Ktunaxa Call to Gather: Columbia Lake East Side

UPDATE ON 2021 KTUNAXA NATION COUNCIL AGA

The Ktunaxa Nation Council is postponing the 2021 Annual General Assembly (AGA), to allow for further preparation by the sectors and to give time and space to Ktunaxa Citizens.
The new date of the AGA is September 29, 2021. It will be in an online format.
Ktunaxa Citizen participation in the AGA is a priority, and the extra time to prepare will ensure the AGA is inclusive of our Communities and Citizens.
Those who email aga@ktunaxa.org will receive informational materials ahead of the AGA, and will be invited to access the new Ktunaxa online engagement portal after it launches fully this summer. The portal will feature project reports, multi-media highlights, links to other resources of interest, and opportunities for comment and discussion.
While COVID-19 cases are dropping within ʔamakʔis Ktunaxa, the virus and its variants continue to pose a risk to Indigenous communities in British Columbia.
The health and well-being of all Ktunaxa Citizens is the guiding principle in the decision to continue with an online delivery.
We thank you for your understanding and look forward to seeing and hearing from you during the 2021 Ktunaxa Nation Annual General Assembly.
Please email aga@ktunaxa.org so we can reach out with updates and announcements.
