Ktunaxa Kinbasket Child & Family Services is responsible for the care of Aboriginal Children and youth that are required to live apart from their immediate family.

Ktunaxa Kinbasket Child & Family Services is delegated under the Child, Family, and Community Service Act to provide care of children in care under:
Voluntary Care Agreements with parent(s)/guardians,
Special needs Agreements with parents(s)/guardians,
Temporary Custody of Child & Family Services, and
Continuing Custody of Child and Family Services.
