We will let everyone know when the AGA will happen.

Community Connectivity Initiative.

  • The Nations 20 years ago wanted improved connection in communities and wanted it to be free, it is now possible.
  • Economic & Investment Sector Council has approved the initiative to provide Free or subsidized internet to all the households

    on the reserves.

  • The information has been circulated around the First Nation Community newsletters for the last 1-3 months as well as KNC’s newsletters and FaceBook pages.
  • We would like to organize (with your approval) a door hanger/letter drop to every household to eliminate any communication barriers with anyone not seeing the newsletter info. We could hire someone local from your community?
  • The information attached can be forwarded through or printed out for anyone to view, everything we are doing is 100% transparent and can be shared.
  • The poster attached should explain the options;
  1. FREE INTERNET  –  This household will need to have a FlexiNet connection (either existing or a new connection)

OR

  1. SUBSIDIZED –  $55 per month to go towards the household internet costs. This would be for anyone that does not want FlexiNet and wants to stay with their current provider.
  • Please count us in for attending any Band meetings to answer questions and explain this initiative in person.
  • There are no catches. There is no fine print. This is Free internet or $55 per month subsidized for every household on reserve.
