2021 Ktunaxa Citizens Recognition Awards – Call For Nominations


The 2021 Ktunaxa Citizens’ Excellence Awards will be presented to a Ktunaxa Citizen or Ktunaxa group in recognition deserving their work in one of the following areas:

• Sports
• Education
• Arts and entertainment
• Health
• Lifetime Achievement
• Cultural Knowledge and Language
• Entrepreneurial / Business

The Lifetime Achievement Award is awarded to someone who, during their lifetime, has made a significant fundamental contribution to the Ktunaxa Nation.

Who is eligible for nomination?

Any Ktunaxa citizen or Ktunaxa citizens’ group

How do we nominate someone?

The nominating sponsor can be an individual, a community group or a recognized entity such as a Band Council, Aboriginal business, etc.

Request For Proposals – Traditional Knowledge and Language Book Illustrations

The Ktunaxa Nation Traditional Knowledge and Language sector is seeking an artist(s) to Illustrate 5 Ktunaxa short story/legend books, that have been transcribed and translated.

Upon completion of the books they will be published, printed and distributed to Ktunaxa Nation citizens.
