| St. Eugene Mission Resort
Located
just minutes from Cranbrook and framed by the Rockies, Purcells
and the famous St. Mary’s River, the St. Eugene Mission
Resort is a spectacular destination for get-aways, vacations,
conferences and retreats.
The Resort is owned and operated by
SEM Resort Limited Partnership which is comprised of the
Ktunaxa Nation, the Samson Cree First Nation and the Mnjikaning
First Nation.
Steeped in tradition, the original St.
Eugene Mission is an impressive turn of the century stone
building. Within its historic walls and connecting lodge
now resides a four and a half star hotel and the Casino
of the Rockies. The Resort offers the best dining in the
vicinity ranging from clubhouse BBQ’s to casual elegance
in the Purcell Grill.
And, of course, there is the acclaimed
St. Eugene Golf Course, an 18 hole championship course rated
by Golf Digest as one of the top three new courses in Canada
in 2001.
Including the Casino of the Rockies,
the Resort employs 250 people of which approximately 25%
are from First Nations.
