Employment services

General Information

The Ktunaxa Nation Council Employment Services Department consists of three main components:
Employment Services;
Individual Training Plan;
Ktunaxa Kinbasket Aboriginal Training Council.

KNC Employment Services provides support and assistance to First Nations people residing within the KKATC service area in finding employment, upgrading employment skills, and interacting with employers.

Individual Training Plan (ITP) is a lifelong process by which individuals can work with the staff at Employment Services to outline their educational and career interests, design a plan, and incorporate training and employment opportunities to reach their career goal.

Ktunaxa Kinbasket Aboriginal Training Council (KKATC) addresses the Labour Market needs of all First Nations people living within the KKATC Service area both on and off reserve, status and non-status, excluding Metis as they have a similar program.
